THE HUMAN BEHIND THE HYPHENS
Cecile Cubiló was raised in the South of France to Spanish parents, which explains the fluent French and Spanish, and occasional dramatic hand gesture. After earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from ESARC, she moved to the United States to pursue acting and filmmaking.
She first stepped on stage at seven years old and found her calling. For the past 16 years, she has built a career in film and television, often cast in roles that require a backbone, a badge, or both, though comedy remains one of her sharpest weapons. Her TV credits include 9-1-1, Westworld, Truth Be Told, and NCIS. LEARN MORE.
Behind the camera, Cecile has worked extensively as a producer and executive producer through her company, Rated Elle Productions. She directed and produced her first short film in 2014 and has since helped bring multiple features to life. Recent credits include executive producing THE DREADFUL starring Sophie Turner and Kit Harington, and NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH starring Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Jack Quaid. Her drag comedy feature film, GOD SAVE THE QUEENS, premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and was released in March 2025. Her first feature, BREAKING & EXITING, was released theatrically in 2018. When she’s not on screen or behind the scenes, Cecile is also a professional stunt driver (cars and motorcycles), with credits on shows including Westworld and 9-1-1: Lone Star, as well as commercials for Audi and Lexus. LEARN MORE.
